The Girl Scouts of San Diego welcomes Dance To EvOLvE as one of their offered programs due to the shared values and goals of each organization. Similar to Girl Scouts, Dance To EvOLvE strives to develop leadership, confidence, individuality, communication, teamwork, respect and responsibility. This is seen in EvOLvE’s mission statement to develop life-skills and personal character through your creativity. Dance To EvOLvE is a proud partner of the Girl Scouts to offer two types of programs.
Both programs can be catered specifically to earn the “Art of Ballet” badge.
Program 1: Dance To EvOLvE also offers traditional dance classes in hip-hop, ballet, modern, and cheer to girl scout troupes who are looking for group activities or to earn a badge.
Program 2: As seen on the Girls Scouts’ schedule, girls can participate in the one-of-a-kind Dance To EvOLvE workshop. This is a great opportunity to earn a badge and work as team with your troupe. See below for the workshop description.
Dance! Design! Direct! Do it all in this unique student-lead class that goes beyond traditional dance classes. The EvOLvE class blends instruction with creative freedom allowing the dancers to be the decision makers by exploring choreography, music selection, show management, and art and costume design for their end-of-session performance. Dancers love this fun class because it allows peer interaction and truly lets their imagination shine, and parents love this positive and high-energy class because it builds confidence, teamwork and communication skills while also developing dance skills. Grades 3rd - 12th grade as students work in groups. More information here regarding the program.
Age: 3rd - 12th Grade (The workshop is developed for various ages and levels; students receive roles and responsibilities appropriate for their age.)

Fee: $23 includes a performance (7 girls minimum/ 25 girls maximum)
Registration: Please download the registration form and mail with a check in the amount of $23, paid to Dance To EvOLvE to confirm the student’s registration. Dance To EvOLvE, 8767 Gilman Drive #C La Jolla, CA 92037. Payment can also be taken via phone with a credit card or via PayPal but must accompany a registration form.
